Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya Washim was established in 2018, initially offering classes from I to V in a temporary building. The school is set to move into its newly constructed campus after March 2025, with construction having begun in October 2023. This modern facility will provide a permanent home for the Vidyalaya, marking a new chapter in its growth and commitment to delivering quality education.

The new building of Vidyalaya is located in Nalanda Nagar, Washim, near the DIET, just 3 kilometers from the Washim Bus Stand. The school is expanding to accommodate two sections per class, ensuring that more parents, particularly those in Category-I, can secure admission for their children. With this expansion, a larger number of students from Washim city will have the opportunity to enroll, offering significant academic benefits to local families. Currently, the school operates with a single section from Class I to Class X, but with the new building, we are poised to serve more students and enhance our educational offerings.
